During the last safety inspection, personnel from LJM notice a smell of gas at the property. When the tenant was asked about this, the reply was “yes, we have smelt gas for some time now”.
The tenant did not inform myself of the issue. LJM personnel found that the gas hob was faulty, notified me from the property and then replaced the faulty hob. Had LJM not carried out the inspection, there could have been an explosion causing fatalities. We will continue to use the services of LJM, and would recommend LJM to all.”

Gas Safe Register is responsible for the registration and regulation of gas engineers. Membership is mandatory for any company or engineer working with gas appliances.
